Pakatan Reminded Not To Belittle Wisdom Of Sultan

Pakatan Rakyat (PR) and DAP chairman Karpal Singh are advised not to be belittle the wisdom of Sultan Azlan Shah of Perak in not dissolving the state’s legislature and appointing a new menteri besar for the state, said UMNO vice president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. “Their action to file legal action against the Sulthan is not a wise step and smells of politics to pursue Pakatan Rakyat’s agenda. It also shows disrespect for the rights of the Rulers as enshrined in the Constitution. “This is very shameful, Rulers must be respected,” he told reporters after attending a briefing on the progress of the Iskandar Malaysia development region, which was also attended by Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghan Othman at the Johor government’s new administrative complex in Nusajaya here yesterday.

For My Comment
I chose no to give comment. I better shut my mouth up.

Horrowing Week For Family Of 11

The past week has been a harrowing one for nine–years–old Michael John and his 10 family members. The families from Machan were forced to flee their home when it was in six–foot deep water. Since then the family was been living under tarpaulin sheets set–up about 10 metres from the wooden house, which is still surrounded by flood water. Their makeshift camp is located just outside the Water Board tank compound along the Water Board Road in Nanga Machan. Michael’s mothers Rimbo, said yesterday that the strong flood waters nearly bought down their house. Rimbo a full–time homemaker, and her husband Taching German, have lived in the house with their nine children for over 10 years. Taching does old–jobs and has no steady source of income. They have no other choice but to camp at there to save their belongings and to see the water carrying away what’s left in the house is a painful experience. Touching on the flood situation in Machan, the department may have to re–open the evacuation centre at SJK (c) Cheng Hua, as the flood waters were continuing to rise.

For My Comment
It was an unfortunate time for them; I think the government needs to build a new house for them at higher places so that they can lives peacefully in next times flood.

Verify Luggage Before Leaving Airport

Air Travellers arriving in Kuching will now have to validate their baggage before leaving the airport. Under the new system, passengers have to ensure that the serial number tagged on the baggage matches that on their boarding pass. The system’s soft launch was carried out yesterday and will be fully implemented next week. Kuching International Airport (KIA) will be the first to implement the system, to be followed in stages by other airports. Passengers with hand–carried luggage will not be subjected to the system. This may cause inconvenience to passengers, but the public must understand that this is for their own good. The subject of the project is ensuring that the passengers will not lose their baggage because it was mistaken by other people.

For My Comment
This system has it bad and good. But I think that the good is the most because our important things are in the baggage, if it was stolen or mistaken, we will need more times to find it than using the system.

Perak Government Collapes

The Pakatan Rakyat (PR) government in Perak has become a minority government as it now only commands 28 sets in the 59 seat State Legislative Assembly. The political imbroglio that broke out in the state since 10 days ago become more acute when Jelaoang assembly-woman Hee Yit Foong yesterday quit the DAP and Bota assemblymen Datuk Nasarudin Hashim, who left UMNO to join Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) on Jan 24, rejoind UMNO, also yesterday.

For My Comment
I think that the 'Datuk Nasarudin Hashim' is playing trick on the Pakatan Rakyat and it was abnormal if a person left a parti not more that one month and then go back to that parti again. And the Hee Yit Foong was not a respondsible person and has betayed his parti.
